OSSLT Library Closure

Please note that the Library, and its resources -- including Chromebooks -- are not available on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18th & 19th, in periods 1 & 2, due to the writing of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

The CKSS Forest of Reading Program is on; check out the Red Maple and White Pine selections!  Read 5-10 books by the end of April and vote for your favourite, along with students from across Ontario!

Check out the full book lists by category here, and see Mr. Thomson in the Library to sign up.

Humber Flash Fiction Contest

Calling all story-tellers!  Humber's Bachelor of Creative and Professional Writing Program is hosting a Flash Fiction Contest for Ontario high-school students, featuring publication and cash prizes!  Click here for more details, and submit your short story of 250 words or less by March 31, 2023.

Eating in the Library

The CKSS Library is a place of quiet work, reading, and study.  If you wish to eat a snack in the library while doing these things, you may.  Using the library for eating a full lunch is not allowed.

The library is not a place for eating lunch and/or socializing loudly; please move to the cafeteria or a hallway location if you want to do these things.

Thanks for your cooperation.
