Key Dates (Online Applications for Sept 2025)
17th (Thursday) October 2024: IB 'Information Session' for Grade 8 Parents and Students - In the SCHOOL GYM - 6:30pm - (no prior registration required)
25th (Friday) October 2024: IB/ALP Applications open online. (CLICK HERE)
2nd (Monday) December 2024 @ 11:59 pm: Online Applications Close.
20th January 2025: Outcome of applications sent to families and students via email.
There will be no second round of applications
27th Jan 2025: Last date for families/students to Accept/Decline a place offered for the IB/ALP program.
By 3rd Feb 2025: Non-HDSB (External) Students must register at CKSS if offered a place in the IB/ALP Program

Transportation Notice
Please be advised that only students who are within the boundaries of Craig Kielburger Secondary School, and who meet the board requirements for busing, will be given board-sponsored transportation. All other students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the school. We do not get involved with second-party transportation issues.
Therefore, if you reside outside of the transportation boundaries, you can still be accepted into the ALP or IB program here, but you will need to provide your own transportation.
Leaving IB at CKSS:
Please note that students leaving IB/ALP at CKSS will need to return to their home school the following Semester.
French Immersion IB at CKSS:
Please note that beginning September 2024 CKSS will not be offering French Immersion IB
