Key Dates

20th October 2022: IB 'Information Session' for Grade 8 Parents and Students - In the SCHOOL GYM - 6:00pm - (no prior registration required)

4th November 2022: IB/ALP Applications open online. (CLICK HERE)

5th December 2022 @ 11:59 pm: Online Applications Close.

23rd January 2023: Outcome of applications sent to families and students via email.

24-29 January 2023: There will be no second round of applications

30th Jan 2023: Last date for families/students to Accept/Decline a place offered for the IB/ALP program.

15th Feb 2023: Non-HDSB (External) Students must register at CKSS if offered a place in the IB/ALP Program

Online Applications for the year 2023-24 . Will open on 4th November 2022

Transportation Notice

Please be advised that only students who are within the boundaries of Craig Kielburger Secondary School, and who meet the board requirements for busing, will be given board-sponsored transportation. All other students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the school. We do not get involved with second-party transportation issues.

Therefore, if you reside outside of the transportation boundaries, you can still be accepted into the ALP or IB program here, but you will need to provide your own transportation.

Leaving IB at CKSS:

Please note that students leaving IB/ALP at CKSS will need to return to their home school the following academic year.
