THE CKSS LIBRARY LEARNING COMMONS IS A PLACE OF QUIET WORK, READING, AND STUDY
Welcome to the CKSS Library Learning Commons!
Looking for your next great fiction read?
Sorry for the inconvenience:
The CKSS Library will be closed -- due to Grade 8 Orientations -- all day on May 23rd. Chromebook sign out is available.
Google Authentication Change:
The HDSB is transitioning to a singular authentication platform for all HDSB users on Monday, April 29, 2024. This change includes all student accounts and will slightly alter the login process. Watch this video demonstrating the new process, and see Mr. Thomson in the library if you have any questions.
Forest of Reading:
The Ontario Library Association's Forest of Reading Program is on! Check out the Red Maple and White Pine nominees, now available at the CKSS Library! Read 5 books before the end of April and be eligible to vote for your favourite in the provincial competition -- see library staff for details, and to register.
Eating in the Library:
The CKSS Library is a place of quiet work, reading, and study. If you wish to eat a snack in the library while doing these things, you may. Using the library for eating a full lunch is not allowed.
The library is not a place for eating lunch and/or socializing loudly; please move to the cafeteria or a hallway location if you want to do these things. Thanks for your cooperation.
