Edge Imaging Summer Grad Photography Studio - June 18th, 2021

Edge Imaging is hosting a graduation photo studio in Burlington to allow the Class of 2021 the opportunity to commemorate their graduating year! Limited grad photography appointments are available to book now. Don’t see an available appointment, please check back as new spots will become available!

We're looking for your pictures from your time at CK to potentially use in a year end commencement video!

Ideally we're looking for high quality pics that are school appropriate that show life at CK before the dark times... before the pandemic!

Remember... there's no guarantee that they'll be used, and by sending them in, you consent to having them appear in the video.

Valedictorian Process 2021 - May 11th, 2021

It is time to nominate your class of 2021 Valedictorian!

When considering who you wish to nominate please remember that the Valedictorian is your representative at Commencement. They are your collective student voice!

This is how the nomination process works

  1. This week will be open for you to nominate individuals that you feel will be good candidates to represent you at commencement, via the google form listed below.

  2. Those candidates that meet the below criteria, prepare nomination speeches and deliver them via video

  3. The graduating class watches the video speeches and then you vote for your valedictorian!

Criteria for a valid candidate:

  1. Must be graduating this year

  2. Must have an average of 70% (based on the best 6 marks in this graduating year)

  3. Have the support of at least 4 students

  4. Have the support of at least 1 teacher

  5. Be prepared to speak on behalf of the graduating class at Commencement.

  6. Be prepared to work closely with the Staff supervisor (Mr. N. Thompson).


  • This week please fill in the google form to nominate valedictorian candidates.

  • Nominations close Friday May 14th at 3pm

  • May 17/18 potential candidates' names go out the the teachers for support

  • May 19th Successful nominees will be contacted. They will have a week to connect with Mr. N. Thompson for directions and prepare their speech.

  • May 27th Valedictorian Nominee video speeches will be posted and voting will take place.
