Mental Health Awareness

Mental health is a key element of a person’s overall health.

Developmental assets are positive experiences, relationships, opportunities and personal qualities that young people need to grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. These are the building blocks of healthy development that lead to positive outcomes. The more assets a child or youth has, the less likely he or she will engage in risk-taking behaviours.

Do you have health questions, or need more information on mental health?

If so, dial 311 or visit Halton Region school health webpages.
